🎀 ARTIST PROFILE – Chelle Anne

Chelle Anne is a dynamic and versatile vocalist known for her ability to move seamlessly across a wide range of styles. From sweet, delicate tones to rich, velvety depthβ€”and all the way through to powerful, raw rock energyβ€”her voice adapts effortlessly to suit any stage or audience.


With years of live performance experience in Cairns, Chelle has built a strong reputation as a reliable and engaging performer. She has been involved in multiple musical projects over the years, including Xenobia, Eternal Question, Dave & Chelle Duo, Mr Smith, Valley Sounds Trio and the Waiting For Alice band, consistently connecting with audiences through both intimate moments and high-energy performances.


🎸 MEET THE GUITARIST β€” Andrew Cooper

Andrew is a skilled and versatile guitarist whose playing blends precision, feel, and adaptability across a wide range of musical styles. With a strong foundation in live performance, he brings both technical ability and a natural stage presence to every project he’s involved in.

Originally from Tasmania, Andrew was founding member and a lead guitarist in BREATHE – The Sound of Pink Floyd before relocating to Far North Queensland.

Andrew has become an active and respected member of the Cairns music community – firstly as a guitarist with local band Glacier Rock, before stepping into the role of lead guitarist for Waiting for Alice.

More recently, he has teamed up with Chelle as the guitarist for the duo The Pop Vultures, continuing to showcase his versatility and strong stage presence across a range of live performances.

Known for his reliability and musicianship, Andrew consistently delivers performances that are both engaging and musically refined. Whether performing in a band setting or a stripped-back duo, he brings a professional and dynamic edge to the stage

Andrew brings expressive, tone-driven playing to The Pop Vultures, blending feel, space, and storytelling into every performance.

Spending part of his early adulthood in Britain, his sound was shaped by a rich musical culture that continues to influence his playing today.
